Three single origins in rotation, roasted here on Tuesday and Friday mornings. The board by the till says which one is in the hopper right now.

    Red apple, brown sugar, a clean finish. The one to order if you usually take milk.

Allergens

The tags name the allergens in each item as we make it. Everything is prepared in one small room where gluten, milk, egg and nuts are all handled, so traces are possible in anything. Ask at the counter and we will tell you exactly what is in it.

The price is the same to sit in or take away, and oat, soya and whole milk all cost the same.

Spindle Row Coffee

One long room halfway down Spindle Row, and no music before eight.

Filter comes first here, and every price, every opening hour and every awkward fact about the room is published before you arrive. The three other cafes on this street will make you walk in to find out.

The roaster sits at the back, the window bar at the front, with two four-tops between them and a bench that seats eight if everybody is friendly.

The grinder is loud between seven and nine. After that, the room is yours.
