Demo · E3

A website for a wedding and events venue - built to earn a viewing.

Five pages, drawn plans of every space and a viewing request that asks for a date and a guest count.

A couple deciding on a venue is spending the most emotional money of their year, and a company is checking whether the room holds its guests. This site answers both before either picks up the phone.

It is a finished five-page site you can open and press. Buy this one and we build the same pages around your rooms, your fees and your dates.

Sedge Hall, its spaces and its fees are invented, and its email address and phone number reach nobody.

Judgement

What this build demonstrates

  • A premium look with no photographs

The page is deep green with one brass line colour and a light serif. Drawn plans and an elevation carry the emotion, and real photography would sit in the same frames.

  • Capacity answered in numbers

Each space lists what it seats for a ceremony, a dinner and standing. A guest count on the form says which spaces fit, so the first conversation starts from a real number.

  • A season guide that says what it is

Twelve months show how a year usually runs, and the guide is labelled as an illustration. The diary stays with the venue and your date is checked by a person.

  • A viewing request with a date and a guest count

The form takes the kind of event, a date and a guest count. The request builds as you type and opens as a draft email. Nothing is sent or stored.

Fit

The kind of business it suits

A place that hosts one event at a time and sells the date.

  • Country house and estate venues for weddings
  • Barns, halls and gardens that hire out by the day
  • Venues that split their year between weddings and company events
  • Historic buildings that open for private hire

A poor fit for a place that sells many small time slots a day. Those need a diary on the site, and we would say so and point you at what does that.
