The members' website and the team's control panel
The website where members see prices, offers, the newsletter, and trade recaps — plus a control panel where the Bardi team approves new members and publishes market updates. Live in production.
Case study
Kalebtec engagement · May to June 2026 · Market intelligence, energy and commodities
Bardi Fuels is a private, members-only platform for professionals in the oil, gas, and biofuels markets. Kalebtec built the whole thing — the members' website, the control panel the team runs it from, and a real iPhone app on the App Store.
Built with

Rowin worked with me on the launch of my company's app during Q2 of 2026. I could not recommend his work enough. He is pro-active, he avoids problems before they arise and profoundly cares for the tasks that are given to him. The work was completed in less time than initially shown and the follow up has been seamless thus far. Great person to work with.
Delivered ahead of the timeline he was quoted. Proactive, heading off problems before they became problems. Follow-up after handoff that has stayed seamless. This is what senior engineers who ship looks like from the buyer's side of the table.
What Bardi Fuels is
Bardi Fuels gives its members live market prices, bids and offers, a weekly newsletter, and trade recaps — all behind a private, invite-only login. It's for the people who trade and follow oil, gas, biodiesel, and feedstock, and want the market in one place they can trust.
There are three ways in: a website for members, a control panel the Bardi team uses to approve members and publish updates, and a real iPhone app on the App Store. Kalebtec built and connected all three — and then handed it over so the team can run it without depending on us.
The client and the problem
This wasn't a brochure website. Get any one of these wrong and there's simply no product to launch.
The prices, offers, and newsletters are the product. Access had to be private and invite-only, approved by the team — not open to anyone who stumbled on the link.
Their audience are working professionals who expect an actual app, not a bookmark. That meant a real iPhone app on the App Store, with the polish and trust that implies.
This is members' data and market data. It had to be handled properly and safely from the very first day, not patched up later.
A small team can't be stuck depending forever on whoever built the software. They needed clear guides to run and update it themselves.
In plain terms: a weak login exposes the very data members pay for. A rejected or fragile app means no mobile presence at all. And careless data handling becomes a liability the moment the first member signs in.
What we built
The whole platform was built by one senior engineer who owned every part of it, so the pieces actually fit together.
01
The website where members see prices, offers, the newsletter, and trade recaps — plus a control panel where the Bardi team approves new members and publishes market updates. Live in production.
02
Behind the scenes, a fast and secure engine stores the data, checks who's allowed in on every single request, and keeps prices, offers, newsletters, and recaps flowing. Built to be reliable and cheap to run.
03
A real app on the App Store — not a bookmark. Face ID lock, secure sign-in, and instant notifications the moment the market moves. Everything a professional expects on their phone. Live on the App Store.
04
We didn't build it and vanish. Bardi got plain-language guides and one-command tools to publish updates and ship app releases themselves — plus safety nets to recover if anything ever went wrong. Theirs to run.
Under the hood
You don't need to care about any of this to buy a website. But it's worth knowing the same people build both. Here's what "production-grade" actually meant on Bardi, in plain English:
Everything members pay for was protected from the very first release — not "hardened later". The app can only ever talk to the real Bardi service and nothing else. When people trust you with market data, that's the baseline, and we built to it from the start.
Only approved people get in, and the Bardi team approves each one. We built that cleanly — without bolting on a big, expensive system the client would have to babysit.
Apple's review flagged one issue. Instead of rebuilding the whole app and restarting the multi-day review, we fixed it with a small change on our side and got it approved fast. Knowing the platform turns a week-long setback into a same-day fix.
The app was slow to open at first because it fetched things one at a time. We combined that into a single quick request, so it opens fast.
Data kept in the EU, a real privacy policy, and the ability for members to delete their account right in the app — the groundwork for GDPR done properly, not as an afterthought.
One-command tools to publish app updates, plus an automatic daily check that keeps everything in sync. The unglamorous work that keeps a product healthy long after launch.
One senior engineer built the whole thing end to end — which is exactly why the pieces fit together, and why the handover was clean.
The outcome
From the engine behind the scenes to a published iPhone app, delivered in about two months and handed over with everything the team needs to run it themselves.
Members actively using the app and its notifications every day to trade and follow the market.
All shipped together as one product. Bardi Fuels is live on the App Store.
Past Apple's review — with a fix that took a day, not a week.
A slow, one-at-a-time startup was combined into a single quick request.
Data kept in Europe, a real privacy policy, and in-app account deletion.
Handed off with plain-language guides, update tools, and recovery safety nets.
The business result, plainly and without inflation: Bardi Fuels came away with a real, private product for its members and its market updates — and a real audience using it. Within two months of launch, 135 professionals were on the platform, trading and reacting to price moves through its live feeds and notifications every day. Not a one-off website, but a product people show up to use.
An honest note on scope: we don't claim an uptime or error-rate figure here. Tracking those was outside what this engagement covered, so the numbers were never measured — and we don't cite what we can't back up.
Why this matters if you're buying a website
Let's be clear about what Bardi Fuels is and isn't. It's a full custom platform — a much bigger job than a €500 website. Nobody should read this and expect an App Store app bundled into a small site package.
What it proves is the thing a website buyer actually wants to know before paying: who's behind it, and can they build. The same people who deliver a Kalebtec website are the ones who took Bardi Fuels from an idea to a private, secure product that's live on the App Store and used every day.
Buying a Kalebtec website isn't hiring a freelancer for the afternoon or handing your project to an outsourced queue. It's buying a small slice of the same senior engineering that builds real production software. Bardi Fuels is the proof.
